Kissathon II: Unfinished Business

After a rousing Friday evening concert by Kiss that rocked my world, I have decided to launch into Kissathon again in an attempt to close the book on this. My rabid fans will remember I did listen to all the music in time, just couldn't find the effort to write about the experience. I considered doing a random thoughts journal like I did for Ryan Adams, but it is much more fun to write about the albums one by one. Especially because there are so many.

This year I am playing on the Advanced level. Still not moving up to expert, because there is only so much Gene Simmons I will subject myself to. And two Tommy Thayer albums is more than any soul should endure.

So I will try and follow the original plan, but with a few added extras like the bonus disc from the Love Gun reissue, the Box Set tracks, and Ace Frehley's latest album Space Invader. Which would be awesome if Metropolis had given me my autographed copy that was supposed to be included with my VIP ticket to see Ace Frehley live this year...

Side note:
Don't ever support anything Metropolis Touring promote. They suck.

Anyways, this is now going to rival Ryan Adams in terms of marathonness. No idea how many songs it will be, or how I am going to end it because ending with a solo Ace album doesn't seem right. Maybe I make the box set the end? Maybe I end with some compilation? Or maybe I just listen to MTV Unplugged again for giggles. Who knows? Not me, but that's always part of the fun!

OK here we go. Buckle your seatbelts and get your butt comfy!
